The new mark for Leno’s show is exactly what you’d expect in a short timeline: uninspiring, plain, and clumsily executed.

The odd bit is the author of this article says Gap is “stuck” with their old logo. I think it’s a fine mark with a lot of brand equity. Really, that’s what Gap was losing in the rebrand. A successful rebranding retains brand equity while refreshing the look.

I like it, smart evolution of their brand.
